Today, we are sharing an interview with Amy Gatto. She is a food blogger who loves sharing her delicious recipes on her website.
Please take some time to go through our tête-à-tête with Amy, to explore her story.
1. Can you tell us about yourself and your profession?
I started blogging in 2017, after a back injury. My health professional suggested that I start doing something that I liked that could take my mind of the pain I was feeling. Doing something I liked would when I was in pain would eventually lead to taking my mind off that pain. l love to cook and share recipes and that is how my food blog came into existence. And, blogging did alleviate some of the pain.
2. When and how did you start your first blog/website?
My first website which featured recipes was launched in 2017 using WIX. WIX was a lot easier to use than WordPress, but had too many limitations. I needed more control over my website. In 2019, I made the decision to migrate my site to Wordpress.org. It was a learning curve, still is, but Blossom Themes is always there to give me the support I need.
3. How did you hear about us?
When I made the decision to migrate my site to Wordpress.org, there was a decision on what Theme to use. There are so many themes. A lot of these don’t suit the food blogging industry. But I then stumbled across a Theme called Blossom Recipe Theme through the Wordpress theme search.
4. What made you choose Blossom Themes?
You can virtually try any theme for free. Blossom Themes are so pretty.
Very soft and delicate. I saw that they had a theme for food bloggers, so I decided to try it and I liked it.
5. Which Blossom Themes’ theme are you using and why?
Blossom Themes had a theme, especially for recipe bloggers. The great thing about Blossom Recipe Theme is that it comes with a Recipe Card Plugin. But the recipe card is also your post. Therefore, cutting down on having to create a post with content and then inserting a recipe card with the recipe and ingredients. After trying it for a couple of days, I made the decision to purchase Blossom Recipe Theme Pro so that I could get all of the features and get support when I needed help.
6. Can you name 3 features you love the most?
Of all the features of Blossom Recipe Pro, I love the flexibility of the widgets, the newsletter section, and subscriber signup, and the ability to customize the features area on the home page.
7. In your opinion, what are the perks of using our theme?
Two perks that stand out the most is the ability to purchase the Themes Club. I would highly recommend this option if you are not sure about which theme to use. For a period of time, I believe it is one year, you have the option to download any of their other themes if you do not like the theme you initially choose. The second perk is the immediate customer response to emails. Their very friendly and knowledgeable responses.
8. Do you have any suggestions for us to improve our services and create a better user experience?
If Blossom Themes doesn’t have one, I would love to see a user “forum”. Where newbies could learn from other bloggers, users or administrators.

Blossom Themes has been the best Theme that I have used thus far. I appreciate their hard work and dedication to customer service. Their friendliness and knowledge are top-notch. When you have a problem, they are right there with a response almost immediately or within 24 hours. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any blogger or business wanting to create a website.
